Hot Chip Covers “Dancing In The Dark”

At this summer’s Governor’s Ball in New York, Hot Chip made headlines over their cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark”. The band gave new life to the classic rock song in an epic, seven-minute long rendition featuring their signature electronic, heavy-hitting instrumentals.

Yesterday, Hot Chip released a video for “Dancing In The Dark”, directed by Kieran Evans. It features clips from 80s TV shows alongside footage from one of their live shows at Webster Hall in New York. Along with the video, the band has released an EP titled Dancing In The Dark, featuring the Springsteen cover along with three remixes of original songs. Dancing In The Dark comes courtesy of London-based Domino Recording Co.

Hot Chip is currently on world tour supporting their latest album, Why Make Sense. The band is hitting multiple countries across Europe, with stops in the U.S. and South America. Check out the full list of tour dates here.
